We continued our walk to Hamburg's Warehouse district to see the famous buildings that stand on oak log pile foundations. We were greeted by a sign warning us of the potential danger of storm flooding between September and March. We should leave this main dike line area as soon as we hear a public address announcement. Lucky it is summer now and all is calm!
